Learn by contributing.
Abhinay Fine Arts has opportunities for high school and college students to gain practical experience in arts administration, event production, media, and communications.
Students can work alongside AFA’s organizing team, contributing to concerts, festivals, and projects that support the organization’s year-round programming.
The Fellowship is intended for students who want to understand how cultural organizations operate—and take an active part in that work.
Work across the organization.
01 / Event Production
Learn how a concert comes together, from preparation and scheduling to venue coordination, artist logistics, audience services, and event-day operations.
02 / Media & Documentation
Develop skills in concert photography, video, audio, editing, and archival documentation. Help produce and organize material that records AFA’s performances and programs.
03 / Communications & Public Speaking
Gain experience introducing programs, preparing announcements, conducting interviews, developing editorial content, and communicating with audiences.
04 / Arts Administration & Research
Contribute to planning, project coordination, documentation, research, and other organizational activities that support AFA’s programming.
More than a concert-day assignment.
The Fellowship is developed around practical projects and defined responsibilities.
Depending on the program and the student’s interests, this could involve preparing materials before a concert, supporting an event on the day, or contributing to a longer-term media, archival, or administrative project.
Students will have opportunities to develop organizational skills, collaborate with an arts team, and produce work connected to AFA’s activities.
Assignments and participation requirements will depend on the opportunities available during each season.
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE
AFA welcomes interest from high school and college students with an interest in the arts, event management, communications, media, research, and related fields.
You do not need to be a musician or dancer to express interest. Different projects call for different skills, and students from a variety of academic and personal backgrounds may find opportunities to contribute.
Specific eligibility, availability, and application requirements will be announced for each Fellowship opening.
APPLICATIONS:
Formal Fellowship applications will open soon.
As opportunities are developed, AFA announces available roles, responsibilities, eligibility requirements, and application details.
Students interested in future opportunities are welcome to contact AFA with a brief introduction and their areas of interest. Please also send a resume and cover letter to abhinayfinearts@gmail.com
