Amrutha Venkatesh
Bengaluru-born Amrutha Venkatesh has learned from teachers including Prince Rama Varma and Parassala B. Ponnammal, and is also an All India Radio A-grade veena artist. She is known for pallavis in unusual rhythmic cycles and music by lesser-heard composers. AFA introduced her to Pacific Northwest audiences in 2019.
