Abhinay Fine Arts proudly presented a spellbinding veena recital by Vidwan Ramana Balachandhran, one of the most sought-after young artists redefining the sound of the veena today. Known for his meditative depth, technical brilliance, and instantly recognizable tonal clarity, Ramana delivered an evening that felt both timeless and intensely present.
The concert showcased his ability to stretch a raga into a living, breathing landscape—slow, unhurried, and full of emotional gravitas—before launching into crisp, sparkling rhythmic passages. The synergy with percussion maestro Patri Satish Kumar elevated the performance to another level, the two artists weaving a dialogue that balanced subtlety with vibrant rhythmic charge.
