SUMMARY:Carnatic Vocal Concert by Sandeep Narayan
DESCRIPTION:Abhinay Fine Arts is delighted to present the amazingly talented vocalist Sandeep Narayan on November 10th @ 3.p.m. Sandeep is one of the most sought after vocalists of Carnatic music today. He started his initial training from his mother\, Smt. Shubha Narayan\, at the age of 4. At the age of 11\, he started advanced training from one of the most revered musicologists\, Calcutta Shri K.S. Krishnamurthy in Chennai. Sandeep has been under the tutelage of Sangeeta Kalanidhi Shri. Sanjay Subrahmanyan since 1999. \nIn 2006\, Sandeep broke boundaries by being the first US born and raised musician to move to India to take up music as a full-time career\, a trend that is now followed by many other young aspiring musicians. \nHaving performed extensively all over the world \, Sandeep hopes to continue serving as a cultural link between Carnatic music and audiences worldwide. \nSandeep will be accompanied by Vidwan Rajeev Mukundan on the violin and Vidwan Sai Giridhar on the Mridangam.
