FAQ:
How much time is allotted for each artist/group?
A maximum of 30 minutes is allotted for each school/musician.
Can students perform in a group for the entire time?
Absolutely!
Will artists be paid for this event?
Unfortunately, not. We are a nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering a greater appreciation for Indian Classical Music in the community.
Is this event ticketed?
No.
Who is paying for the hall, speakers etc?
We will try to get sponsors for some of the expenses and the rest will be taken care of by Abhinay Fine Arts. We also welcome any voluntary donations from the participants and audience.
Who is going to be in the audience?
Friends and family of the participants, and anyone else who has an interest in music can attend the program.
Why are we doing this?
We are doing this to promote local talent and celebrate the diversity of the various classical music traditions in the area.
Rules and Regulations:
Each participant / school will be given 30 minutes to perform.
Please restrict group performances to a maximum of 6 performers.
The schedule for the festival will be decided by the organizers, on first come first served basis.
Participants are requested to be at the venue and report at the registration 45 minutes before their event.
Complete the Registration Form and submit it before July 10 th .
Please let us know in advance if you do require accompanists. Abhinay Fine Arts will try its best to provide the necessary accompanists, but cannot guarantee the same. Last minute requests will be accomodated only if possible.
